Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association was looking for an interactive activity for their client, a group of international tour operators and wholesalers. They wanted something that would showcase Curacao Island in a unique and fun way while participants got to know each other better.
D&I decided to provide a Go Team! experience for the international delegates in a technology-based scavenger hunt. Using the Go Team app’s GPS navigation and a series of clues and navigation notes, participants navigated their way around Curaçao’s city center Punda & Otrobanda visiting beautiful and iconic locations such as Emma Bridge (Old Swinging Lady), Old Forts, museums & parks (Brion Plein & Wilhelmina Plein). Just like an Amazing Race challenge, teams participated in specific activities such as learning to dance to local cultural rhythms, dressing up in Carnival clothing, selling fruits & vegetables at the floating market and creating their own cocktail using the famous Blue Curaçao Liquor. Teams submitted their responses instantly with ease through the Go Team application so by the end of the treasure hunt, the winners were revealed. All participating teams received a goodie-bag with natural Curacao Aloe Products
“Recently we had the pleasure of working with CHATA member D&I Business Support on a scavenger hunt for international tour operators and wholesalers visiting the island. We requested their support in creating an interactive activity, which would showcase our island in a unique and fun way. D&I Business Support came up with the idea to provide a Scavenger Hunt to the wholesalers using their platform Go Team! This was a great success! The D&I team went above and beyond to meet our needs. Their biggest assets are their staff, who are very talented and service minded. We look further to continue our partnership in the future!.” Vianny Henriquez, Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association
