Gaylord Palms Sales and Marketing Department was looking for a fun interactive way to show off their resort and the Marriott Brand to a FAM group of 120 meeting planners. They wanted a completely custom hunt that would allow the meeting planners to get comfortable with the layout of the Gaylord Palms, as well as highlight 20 other Marriott Conference Hotels.
Play with a Purpose provided each team of meeting planners along with one Marriott Sales Manager an Ipad pre-downloaded with the custom Marriott challenges. They started in the Emerald Bay Plaza with the beautiful replica of the Castilo San De Marcos in the background, teams raced around the resort taking pictures, answering trivia about the Marriott Brand, and ended back by the fort filled with new knowledge and a new fondness for the Marriott Brand. This hunt allowed the meeting planners to gain a lot of information in a fun way in a very short amount of time.
