The board of ACU Credit Union (Algemene Spaar- en Kredietcoöperatie) trusted financial partners in Curacao headed to the tropical island of Aruba in the warm waters of the southern Caribbean just 15 miles north of Venezuela. As well as attending meetings, ACU wanted to utilise the opportunity to get to know each other better and uncover the delights of Aruba’s lively capital city Oranjestad, white-sand beaches and friendly, warm hearted people.
The Solution
Leading business support company, D&I saw a perfect fit between Go Team’s technology based scavenger hunt and the desired outcomes of ACU. The ACU board was divided into smaller teams who after being provided with a tablet loaded with the Go Team team building treasure hunt app. After a brief explanation, the teams guided by Go Team walked around the city completing a series of bespoke tasks target to their ACU’s learning outcomes. The teams had fun selling items to tourists, performing a song in Aruba’s open air theatre and making signs in the sand. The Go Team app enabled teams to submit their responses to the challenges in real time with ease so that by the end of the scavenger hunt, the winners were instantly reveal to the delight and cheers of all.
